Heritage Woods Secondary School (HWSS) is a comprehensive secondary school serving 1200 students in grades 9-12. Nestled in an urban forest setting in Port Moody, all classrooms have access to natural light  The school also boasts a 350 seat professional theatre and a full sports complex including a rubberized track and synthetic field. Technological advancements include an updated wireless network and built-in classroom LCD projectors. • Facilities: Heritage Woods is the newest school in the district. A wireless technology network allows laptop computers to be used anywhere in the school by students and teachers. To promote well-rounded life choices, Heritage Woods students have access to both a full-sized and a smaller gymnasium, a weight room, tennis courts, running track, two full-sized fields, and 350 seat theatre.
• Course variety: Heritage Woods offers a number of options for students, including a CISCO Networking Academy, Outdoor Education Program, Wireless Writing Project, Honours Program, and Advanced Placement in English, Math, and Social Studies.
