• Course variety: Thornlea offers many specialized programs, including Advanced Placement, French Immersion, and Specialist High Skills Majors in Arts & Culture, Business, Health & Wellness, and Transportation. It's English as a Second Language program equips English language learners with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in both their social and academic lives and to participate fully in Canadian society.
• Extracurricular activities: At Thornlea, everyone is encouraged to get involved in a variety of activities to enrich their high school experience.
