About
Steveston-London Secondary School (SLSS) opened in September 2007. SLSS was created after a merger between two well-established secondary schools – Steveston Secondary (est. 1956) and Charles E. London Secondary (est. 1974). Steveston-London Secondary School is a large (1250 students), comprehensive Grades 8-12 secondary school, operating on a semester timetable. Students enrol in four classes from September to January and four new classes from February to June. Steveston-London is home to academically-focused students whose post-secondary plans mostly include enrolling in top universities and colleges directly after high school. The school offers an enrichment program for students in Grades 8-10 called Spectrum as well as many enriched and Advanced Placement course offerings in Grades 11-12. Equally importantly, the school provides a wide range of selective studies in art, music, theatre, languages, business education, engineering, technology, aviation, recording arts, drafting and design, home economics, and physical education.

ACCOMMODATION (Students 13+)
Accommodation, whether arranged privately or through the Richmond International Education (RIE) homestay program, is a crucial part of the international education experience. A homestay family is the main student support outside school and is responsible for assisting the student in all aspects of their life in Canada. RIE offers an excellent, in house homestay program coordinated by RIE staff; however, students may live with families outside of the RIE homestay program provided they meet RIE homestay standards. Students can expect a range of accommodation options in the city of Richmond, from single family homes to townhouses and new condos.
